The aim of the Forum was to promote business opportunities by nurturing existing and forging new personal and business relationships between MI and Jonten CPA and to gain in-depth understanding of participants’ professional markets and clients.
Jonten CPA, one of the top 20 firms in China, has achieved significant growth in recent years. Jonten CPA’s objective is to be among the top 10 Chinese national firms in China in the near future.
Jonten CPA provided participants with an informative insight into doing business in China covering the key issues and common pitfalls. All participating firms gave an overview of their core and specialist skills and client base highlighting potential mutual opportunities.
Following the Forum, MI Chairman, Jean-Pierre Larroze, MI Vice Chairman, Stephen Chang, MI Asia Pacific Chairman, Paul Wan and MI CEO, Liza Robbins, accompanied by Jonten CPA Chairman, Zhu Wei and Jonten CPA CEO, Liu Xiaozhen, visited the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA). The aim was for MI to gain a greater understanding of the objectives and aspirations of the CICPA in supporting the development of quality national Chinese firms to compete in the global audit and accountancy market and to express MI’s commitment to support the objectives of CICPA by forging strong relationships with Jonten CPA.
